I was also at the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections Office for their Logic and Accuracy Testing. Both events were deeply disturbing to watch. There are 300 ballots in a batch and it is revealing to see how many are rejected for umpteen reasons when meticulous care is taken to be very careful of dirty hands, pen marks, nothing outside the microscopic ovals filled in, no flies landing on them, no pen dots, no sweaty hands, etc. on any square inch front or back.
The adjudication feature is optional and each county supervisor has the option of using it or not in Montana.
