Thank you for keeping us updated on this unbelievable story. Florida owes Chris Gleason and Jeff Buongiorno a huge debt of gratitude for the many hours and money sacrificed to hold our officials accountable. I know first-hand that outrageous fees are being charged by our SOEs for public records. The question is what are they trying to hide? Pinellas gave me an estimate of $335,000 for a simple public records request that could have exonerated the SOE if my team's findings proved wrong. They didn't. This story is outrageous. Now, if HB1381 is passed, we'll never get the answers. Everything will be hidden from the public and I believe this case is why the bill is even being considered.
