A poll recently conducted of American voters of every political party concluded that 93% of the respondents all agreed that there should be no cheating in elections.

Today after announcing my candidacy for the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections and filing my “Statement of Candidacy” I went to a local bank to open the campaign account to accept campaign contributions.

During the conversation with the bank representative who was helping open the account, my 12 year old daughter Grace asked him if he thought that there should be no cheating in elections.

He laughed and said “of course there should be no cheating in elections, that happens in Venezuela the country where I came from, or in Cuba”.

He went on to tell us about how the voting machines in Venezuela were used to destroy his country and he immigrated here. I explained to him that the voting machines were also compromised here in Pinellas County Florida and that close to forty thousand Pinellas County voters were stripped of their right to cast their ballots and have their votes counted accurately.

I then explained to this deeply concerned new American this was why I was running for the Pinellas County Supervisor of Elections.

He then offered to be a campaign volunteer. How about that?

Those of you who have been following my work nationally know full well that “something is broken” in our elections.

Our latest campaign volunteer said that he knew that there was a massive issue in the 2020 election here in Pinellas County. He just didn’t know what to do about it. He did know that he can’t just sit idly by and watch his new home fall into what happened in Venezuela.

We need you. America needs you. Will you join us in the fight to ensure that the 7% of people who want to cheat in elections can’t get away with it?
